For all those who have seen the state of the union address, I wonder if you found it a little unusual that for almost every sentence that Pres. Obama spoke, there’s a standing ovation. I’ve had a few friends tell me that as well. While some said it is a very effective way of breaking up the speech into clear and concise segments, I think it is the speaker’s job to break the speech not the audiences’. I agree that Obama is an fiery orator and his body language is unquestionable, it was a little weird seeing the sit-stand game that his audience played. It was almost as if they were exercising for all the gym sessions they missed!
Would love to hear what you think.

It was very funny to see Nancy Pelosi join the claps, and even initiate it so many times. Obama was clearly irritated at that. He wanted to make his speech, but she just tried to clap him out
It’s all a ploy to fool the public into believing every word he says.
